Thank you for your interest in Running For The Wells.  I hope you are able to join us for this 2nd annual fun run to benefit building wells in Uganda.  Each well costs $3000 to build, benefitting approximately 600-800 local boarding students as well as 400-500 local villagers.  Your participation will help save lives by providing access to this most necessary resource: fresh water.

What:
The 2nd Annual Running for The Wells 11k Run will take place September 18, 2010 starting from the Rodeo Beach Picnic Area in the Marin Headlands.  Please make every effort to carpool, a request by the Park Service.  This is a bib-less run and there will be one aid station approximately half-way through.   We will provide fresh water at the start to fill your water bottles.  Participants are treated to pancake breakfast at the Picnic Area immediately following the run. Minimum donation is $35, which includes a pair of Injinji Performance Toe Socks; people can give more as they are led.  Non-runners may have breakfast for a $5 cash donation.
